I sat in this McDonalds and watched as the management team served their customers. This is a unique location.
Management comes and sits with the regulars - and others.
I am amazed at how they actually care. It is not just friendly banter but meaningful interaction that builds relationships that will last longer than a customer to a vendor
They ask questions and communicate - they get to know their clients.
Most rediculously slowest mcdonalds anywhere. Insanely disfunctional business
Beware breakfast visits..rather busy and has THE rudest emplyee ever (his tag says JR..like, how redneck can you get?) Sandwiches are served lukewarm like too many McD's locations nowadays. Bathrooms are usually pretty bad, tables almost never get cleaned and one of the only two power outlets is crammed behind a stupid barstool thing that little kids treat like a play area. All booths are window seats with no shades on most of the windows so morning and evening sun is brutal on the eyes..in summer you'll easily burn. Also within walking distance of many welfare apartments. Other than that its a typical McDonald's (i.e. terrible burgers, weird salads, almost everthing overpriced).
I messed up my daughter's friends order 3 or more times at the register l, the cashier did not once get frustrated with me or annoyed (I was annoyed with myself lol). Food was fast and very good! Working fast food isn't at all, so the workers tonight deserve an award! Thank you all for being awesome. Also, the manager Robin is one of the best over seen in this place her communication with her staff and the fact that she works just as hard or harder then any of them makes for a great store.
